North Brevard Historical Museum

1/23 Wednesday, 73/68, partly cloudy, SE20 - This morning Dobbs and I flushed “Salt Away” through our engine’s direct raw water cooling. It was a straightforward and tidy process, and again we saw strong, steady flow. We’re looking forward to installing the new water pump as soon as it gets here from California.

We spent the afternoon learning more about the history of Brevard County and Titusville. We visited the North Brevard Historical Museum in town and then walked the perimeter of the Pritchard House. We would have liked to tour it, but the required $10/person donation is beyond our budget. We learned all we could from observation of the exterior.

On the way home, we stopped at Sav-A-Lot for more groceries. For dinner, I made broccoli stir-fry with chicken in spicy peanut sauce, over rice. I’ve started reading Sue Monk Kidd’s “The Invention of Wings”.
