Gaming at The Infinite Mushroom

1/14 Monday, 66/46, sunny, N10-15 - Our projects this morning were to re-bed the port aft lower shroud chainplate cover (Dobbs) and prepare an estimate for potential rigging work at this marina (Suzanne). I also finished going through the “business” portion of our mail that arrived Friday - not nearly the fun of opening Christmas cards. After lunch, we walked to the park and played tennis.

A wild return from Dobbs put us one tennis ball down.

Then, on the way home, we stopped for groceries. Maybe we just played an extra physical set, or perhaps the combination of it and walking home with 20lbs. each of groceries on our backs, but we are sore tonight! I made an early dinner of spaghetti with cabbage and meat sauce so that Dobbs could have time to walk back up to The Infinite Mushroom, the local comic book and gaming store in town. Tonight they played ”Scythe”.

I spent the evening talking on the phone with one of my brothers and texting with the other. Now it’s just before 8pm. I’ll walk Murphy one last time before bed and then go take a shower. Dobbs won’t be home until later.
